Cemented Magazine was developed as a part of my senior thesis at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I wanted to create a magazine that people could relate to. One that wouldn't be jaded or biased by what we see today in print or online. I wanted the magazine to focus on streetwear due to the fact that streetwear is known for having a DIY aesthetic where influences are pulled from all sorts of outlets. It's a movement in fashion that I believe allows people to experiment, come out of their comfort zone, and create a look that is unique to them. Showcasing stories, images, and trends from everyday people, people like our readers, is Cemented's mission and way of empowering its readers to feel comfortable in their own skin and in fashion sphere.
