As a graphic designer on the NYLON editorial team, I was in charge of designing custom artwork for articles and features that were going up on the site. I was also brought on as a part of the design team that was in charge of implementing the new design direction for the brand as it was going through a complete revamp. As a designer, it was essential that every piece of artwork had a lo-fi look to it which was the new direction the brand was going in. Switching over from a more pop and chaotic look to a more streamlined aesthetic helped to clearly define NYLON's target audience and identity.
